Luc Besson created Digital Factory in the late 1990s, as a tool of excellence dedicated to the post-production of feature films.
An important step was taken in 2012, moving Digital Factory to the brand new Cité du Cinéma in Saint-Denis.
Over its first 20 years, Digital Factory performed post-production services on numerous prestigious films. Its creative teams have also contributed their know-how to short films, commercials and narrative series.
The company’s expertise in feature and narrative films perfectly complements Atlantis’s historical know-how in the production of unscripted programs and commercials.
Digital Factory expanded its ongoing offerings, with the addition of dubbing, subtitling and accessibility services (subtitling for the deaf and hearing-impaired, and audio description).
In the summer of 2024, Digital Factory is opening studios in Marrakech, launching the international expansion of its offerings. Digital Factory hopes to export its know-how to Africa, to develop local skills, and thus play a role in boosting the audiovisual ecosystem in Africa, and to build bridges between local content creators and the major players in international distribution and broadcasting (Canal+, Netflix, Amazon, etc.)
